although i can read the above in a way that i mostly agree with, the statement contains a rather horrible logical error endemic to aristotelians (most of society)。。 "that by which" is not a constant, nor is anything else。 objects, including people, are never 'the' 'same' object from one moment to the next。 one easy way to unstick this statement is to consider the case of a mendacious child (are there any young children who are not at one time or another?)。。 for more on the problems inherent in aristotelian 'logic', see here。
