a million brits prepared to go to jail over government attempts at branding??
i won't go as far as saying i don't believe a word of it， but i am pretty sceptical about this。。 still if even remotely close to reality， it is very good news：

6% of those opposing compulsory cards said they would prefer to go to prison rather than register for a card. This represents over a million people.
